The second annual Wine & Equine fundraiser took place at Morgan Hill Cellars on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 2:00 to 6:00pm. Thanks to the incredible generosity and very hard work of many people, DreamPower received $5,230 from the event.

Many, many thanks to all the volunteers who made the Wine and Equine Fundraiser such a huge success. Special thanks and recognition to Terri Stinson, who had the original idea for this event and has chaired the Wine and Equine committee for the past two years.  Jean Suntrup and Leslie Kish also worked very hard on all the details, the prizes, the decorations and everything for the event.  Don and Diane van Straaten and the South County Country Dancers donated and cooked the deliecious food.  The "4 of Hearts" band donated their time for the day and the Morgan Hill Cellars donated the use of their facility.
 
Thanks to everyone who attended, donated prizes, invited friends and helped in every way.  The 2010 Wine and Equine Fundraiser was a wonderful day for everyone and we appreciate your support!  A half-truckload of grass hay is on the way to our barn, ordered with the proceeds from this event.  :)  All the horses say, "Thank you!"

Even more amazing, the organizing committee told me they are already talking about next year and how to make it even better!
