February 15, 2008 Honey the Haflinger

Honey, Classy and Red were donated to DreamPower by J.J. and Barbara Routson and Ellyn Schumacher in February 2008.  All three of these horses are registered Haflingers. (This is the same breed as Rocky, a Haflinger who has been working in our program for several years).  “Color Me Classy” is a 14-year-old Haflinger mare known as Classy. She has had five foals.  Her best friend is “Dulcina,” a 10-year-old Haflinger mare known to DreamPower staff and students as “Honey.”  She has had four foals.  Red is a 14-year-old Haflinger gelding who used to ride in a Haflinger quadrille.


We are extremely grateful for the generosity and trust demonstrated by J.J.,  Barbara and Ellyn as they donated three of their dearly beloved horses to DreamPower. The horses are young, strong, healthy, sweet and very friendly. They are gradually being incorporated into the DreamPower lesson string.
