July 7, 2008 - Equine Wilderness Journey Progam A Success

Five high school students from the Santa Clara County Office of Education post-senior program recently completed the first Equine Journey Wilderness Program, which concluded with a three-day horse camping trip in the backcountry of Henry Coe State Park.  More>


June 30, 2008 - Justice For Athletes Donates $3,500
Justice For Athletes (JFA) supports programs that promote sportsmanship, education, fair play and ethics among youth. This donation will help support DreamPower's Equine Journey Wilderness Program.

June 1, 2008 - Darragh Unitrust Donates $22,726

The largest donation to DreamPower to date comes from the estate of Robert. D. Darragh, Jr. and and Beatrice H. Darragh, through their daughter, Mary Darragh, a resident of Sausalito.  More>


May 12, 2008 - $12,000 Grant From Intero Foundation

This wonderful grant is designated for scholarships for low-income and at-risk children and youth will also allow DreamPower to purchase two new treeless saddles.  More>


February 14, 2008 - Meet Our Three New Haflingers 

Three new horses - Red, Honey and Classy - have joined the Dreampower Therapeutic Riding Program. These Haflingers, donated to Dreampower by J.J. and Barbara Routson and Ellyn Schumacher, are adjusting well to their new home.  More >


February 8, 2008 - Equine Facilitated Learning at Oak High School
DreamPower and the Special Education Department of Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill partnered together on a new equine facilitated learning program. The five participating  students each received partial scholarships from the San Martin Lions Club.


January 30,2008 - South Valley Country Dancers Donate $2500
